Artist Information

Marc Cohn

After winning a Grammy for his soulful ballad “Walking in Memphis,” Marc Cohn solidified his place as one of this generation’s most compelling singer-songwriters, combining the precision of a brilliant tunesmith with the passion of a great soul man. Rooted in the rich ground of American rhythm and blues, soul and gospel and possessed of a deft storyteller’s pen, he weaves vivid, detailed, often drawn-from-life tales that evoke some of our most universal human feelings: love, hope, faith, joy, heartbreak.

In 2019, Marc released a collaborative record with gospel legends Blind Boys of Alabama titled 'Work To Do’ which was released on BMG. 'Work to Do' is comprised of three studio tracks plus seven intimate live performances recorded at the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center in Old Saybrook, CT, during a taping of the PBS series The Kate. Original plans were to release an EP containing the studio tracks, but the excitement and magic captured during the taping inspired the decision to create this unique hybrid album. 2019 was a busy year for Marc, consisting of 75 shows in about 65 cities. Moving forward, Marc continues to do what he does best: infuse American music with both a fresh perspective and a reverence for its deep roots.

Randall Bramblett

Randall Bramblett is a lifer. For decades, he's explored the deep corners and outer orbits of American roots music, creating a southern sound that's every bit as eclectic as its maker. He is a highly accomplished musician, singer, songwriter and bandleader known for his genre-blending style and creative song imagery. Bramblett first became known as a skilled touring sideman, his talent earned him the respect of rock’s finest. Highlights – he toured in the Gregg Allman Band, joined Sea Level with Chuck Leavell, recorded/toured with Cowboy, spent 16 years in Steve Winwood’s band, including the Traffic Reunion Tour. His songs were covered by Bonnie Raitt, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Delbert McClinton, and more. He’s been the horn leader for Widespread Panic, and also tours in Marc Cohn’s band.

It’s a huge tribute to his songwriting to have “The Great Lady of Soul,” Bettye LaVette released a tribute album, covering 11 of Randall Bramblett's songs on the Jay-Vee label. Super-producer Steve Jordan brought in Steve Winwood, John Mayer, Jon Batiste, Larry Campbell and more to play on this! It was nominated for a Grammy in 2023.

But it’s Bramblett’s own career as frontman where his artistry is truly on full display and gives him the most satisfaction. He's recorded 13 albums for labels Polydor, Capricorn and the last seven for New West Records. Deep into his self-described second act of his solo career, and living in Athens, Georgia, Bramblett's talents are repeatedly praised by musicians, critics, DJs and fans.

Maybe this — an historic career that's still unfolding, reaching new milestones with each passing year — is what paradise looks like, after all.
